Rules (American Checkers)

• Pieces move diagonally forward one square on dark squares.
• Jumps (captures) are mandatory. If you can jump, you must.
• Multi-jumps: if another jump is available after capturing, you must continue.
• Kings: reach the opposite end to get crowned. Kings move and jump in both directions.
• Win by capturing all opponent pieces or blocking all their moves.
• Draw: 40 moves without any capture results in a draw.

Strategy Tips

• Control the center of the board for maximum mobility.
• Protect your back row to prevent early kings.
• Trade pieces when you have the advantage.
• Push to get a king as early as possible.
• Use the edges carefully. Edge pieces can only move one way.
